Instrument or Machine is the literal meaning of Yantra. It is a Sanskrit word and was derived from “yam” which means to hold or sustain. Yoga masters treat this as a sacred symbols utilized traditionally in the Eastern section. They utilize these sacred symbols to balance and focus our mind spiritually.
Yantra is a dominant device which lets a person concentrate huge energy and whatever they wished for is obtained thru worship. Here are the various types of Yantra based on the different goals one desire to attain. As explained, it’s a “diagrammatical representation” of different mantras.
“Bindu” (Dot). It is where it all starts. It symbolizes the harmony of the motionless and kinetic cosmic ideology that creates the endless universe. Bindu symbolizes also the 1st drop that develops into the physical territory of the universe.
Squares. This is what the yoga practitioners imagined as the ideal shape for describing our planet. This represents that in our normal world must outshine the spiritual practice.
Triangles. It is the origin of nature.
Circles. They got this symbol obviously to pattern the revolution of our planets. It symbolizes unity and wholeness meaning “no beginning and no end”.
