When you start a mantra meditation practice there is one thing, one important thing that you need to know. What I am going to tell you about is common sense. Unfortunately however this news is not a very popular concept.
In order to actually achieve your goals with your mantra meditation practice, you are going to need to work. You are going to need to put the time and the effort and the energy into your practice.
If you are wanting to get results, you are going to have to commit. You need to make the choice to commit your energy, time and work to produce the results. Unfortunately results don’t come out of thin air.
When you start your mantra meditation practice initially it will all be exciting, but eventually the reality will set in.
You will become aware of the hard work ahead of you that is required. The work required if you are going to make any changes.
Mantra meditation is unfortunately not a quick fix solution. It is not something that you will master in a week, in a month or even in a year.
Changes will occur for sure, and even small changes can be observed daily and weekly. Mastery however doesn’t arrive quickly. Mastery comes with time, effort, energy and commitment.
This is not popular thinking however in the times we live in. We live in a fast society. Consumeristic society is where we live. Everyone wants results yesterday, the quick result, the easy way out. The result that requires no work.
Mantra meditation is not like that. Changing yourself with your mantra meditation practice can happen in an instant – but it is no likely. It needs time and work to change the mind and the energy.
So when you start your mantra meditation practice commit yourself to it. To really reap the rewards of your mantra meditation practice, commit your energy and time to obtain the results you really want.
