Luckily my wife Lyn’s sister “my sister in law” Andrita works for a UK based company at Liverpool Airport, as a result Andrita often gets promotional deals. So we were fortunate that a deal came up for Disneyland resort Paris. Andrita booked the trip for 6 of us, Andrita, My Niece Kasey, Lyn, Connah, Callum “our 2 younger boys”, and of course myself (thank you Andrita).
The trip was fantastic, we had 2 fantastic days 1 day in the Disneyland park, and the 2nd in the Disney studios.
We met Mickey, Goofy, and Winnie the Pooh too.

After 2 amazing days at the Disney resort, we were due to be leaving on Thursday morning the 4th March 2010. Our flight was leaving Paris CDG for Liverpool at 11am, this meaning we had to be there at least 1hr before which makes it 10am. Knowing this I went to the rail station on the Wednesday evening to check the times of the TGV for the Thursday am, I was given a timetable and was assured that the TGV’s ran every couple of minutes after 9am so I took a timetable back to the hotel, and we planned our departure, we would get up at 7am, have our breakfast at 8am, check out at 8.45am, walk 5 minutes from the hotel to the rail station, and would get our rail tickets, and the TGV just after 9am seeing that they run every couple of minutes after 9am. The train journey was 10 minutes from the rail station to the airport, we would arrive at the airport in plenty of time. “The perfect plan”, or so we thought.
All was going to plan, we were up at 7am, we were at breakfast for 8am, checked out at 8.50am, and at the rail station for 9am, the next TGV was at 9.04 but we needed our tickets, but no worry there would be another TGV in a couple of minutes; “that’s what we thought”, in reality the next TGV wasn’t due to leave until 9.51am. The timetable wasn’t just for that day the Thursday, it also included weekend timetables too, and as i don’t speak French, I obviously hadn’t communicated very well to the lady in the ticket office, and hadn’t understood what she had told me.
My sister in law Andrita who worked for the airline, began to panic, my niece who works for security at Liverpool airport also began to panic, as did Lyn, and my 2 boys who were influence by the adults panicking, I knew if I was to panic then there would be turmoil, I decided to send some Reiki ahead of us in order to ensure everything at the airport would go smoothly, I remained calm, to the amazement of Andrita who asked “why are you so calm and why aren’t you worrying”. I simply replied “why panic? What will panicking achieve”? Both Andrita and my niece Kasey began to recall incidences with passengers they had had experiences with, and that the prognosis wasn’t good for us. Just then came the next announcement, the 9.51am TGV was now delayed and would be approximately 10minutes late, as you can picture their were almost tears, and yet more panic, Kasey sat with her head in her hands, yet I remained calm, and confident that all would be well. Kasey then put out the worst kind of negativity anyone could ever do, and said “what if 1 of us gets security checked at boarding”? “OOPS”! I thought, again I remained calm knowing that the Reiki would aid the situation.
The TGV arrived at 10.01am, and we all had to hot foot through the airport,(which isn’t easy with a 10yr old) running from the rail platform to the boarding gate. The plane was boarding, and we were the last 6 passengers to board. We all made the plane, but Kasey got stopped and her bags searched at security, but still made the flight.
Remember what vibrations you put out into the universe can help you, sending Reiki to a situation will help the situation even if you are not present in the situation, and sending negative thoughts about a situation just like Kasey, can create the situation which you wanted to avoid.
Always be positive, and calm in what appears to be an adverse situation, and you might just be surprised at the eventual outcome.
Love & Light.
Peace and happiness.
Paul.
P.S. Live life to the full and enjoy your family just as we did when visiting Disney.

I am not a practioner of Reiki and am purely writing this from the opinion of a user so I cannot quote facts and figures on how and why it works. All I can say is that it worked for me. I was a dancer for 18 years which left me with arthritis in my leg and hip joints and was living a life of almost permanent pain because I am not a believer in long term drug use. A friend of mine was going through her Reiki training and asked if I would be her guinea pig.
After the first session I immediately felt more mobile and stayed pain free for the whole week, I could do things that I hadn’t been able to do for years such as running up the stairs when normally I would be hauling myself up using the bannister. I could walk longer distances and generally had more energy.
Unfortunately my friend moved away a short while ago and my weekly sessions have stopped as I could not afford to pay for the treatment. My arthritis has come back and every movement is painful, this is obviously a treatment that needs to be done continuously. I just wish that I could afford it all the time. I cannot speak for everyone but I can say that it definitely worked for me and made my life easier and happier. My friend said that I may need a few treatments before it made any difference but it worked first time and every time for me. I must have been one of the lucky ones. Anything that can help alleviate permanent pain even for a short time must be worth a try.
I think you should look into finding yourself a reasonably priced Reiki Master in your area to attune you to Level 1. Maybe you can do a little research and meet with the teacher your friend worked with before she moved? Self treatment should give you the same results (in my experience) as treatments with your friend. Good luck to you!
